Without Further A Due

Kinda… you see this is my new design. Since it seems the public couldn’t want any longer I decided to unconventionally release a beta version of a website.

    What’s new?

  • New Photo Section design
  • Tableless CSS design
  • Random Image Displayer, hit refresh for new picture will appear
  • Easy to navigate toolbar at the top
    What’s not there yet?

  • An IE 6 error in the Photo Section causing a gap in the header
  • Comment Security (too much spam)
  • A set css standard for bold and italic content
  • An error on one particular photo in random image viewer
  • The Wiki Section is temporarily down to fix security issues
  • The Music section won’t be updated until the term is over

You if you find any more errors, please let me know. Leave a comment!

On another note……

Unabashed or Unintentional?

Apparently the ad above outraged the some morally pretentious officials in New York. It is supposed to be an advertisment to encourage reading from the urban clothing company “Akademiks”.

Surely I would be the first to admit that “Getting Brain” is synomous with oral sex in the hip hop vernacular. Obviously Akamediks’ main clientele is is familiar with the phrase. The point is that Akademiks didn’t do anything different than what most most advertisers do. Open in Maxim and you will see ads that balance on the line of suggestion. Remember the Miller Lite “Twins” commericials? This just leads me to believe that the concern over the ad in question is just an attack on youth culture, Hip hop culture (once again), and “you know what” culture.

I gotta start updating more regularly!

Since the last time we met, I have completed a tedious Software Methodology project that was without a doubt the most strenuous CS project I’ve ever been involved in. Now that midterms are over as well I can attempt to become social again….but that seems to be another feat! When will it end!

Well it’s November what can we look forward to?

Yes the new Nas album is coming soon (Dec). I guess he is re-enacting the Last Supper painting (except he’s in a pyramid?)

Yes…..the masters of ignorance are back Harlem’s own Diplomats. In anticipation of the Dip album (end of the month) check out the Jam of the Month!

The my world class intramural soccer team look destined for another finals appearence. Pictures of us soaked in champagne and big booty girls at the t-shirt ceremony will be coming soon!

And remember in the words of Juelz Santana

“slow money’s no money
and no money’s a BEATIN honey!”

Four’s Company (Part 2) coming soon!
